Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn has been an actress for over 20 years. She is most famous for her character Skyler White in The AMC Drama series Breaking Bad for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actor in an Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. Her other appearances are Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn began acting as an elementary school student at Sante Fe New Mexico. The family moved to Ohio, where she continued her interest in the theatre. She was a student at Northwestern University to study theatre as well as the British American Drama Academy. Anna began her career working in the Chicago area theatres for a few years. Then she moved to TV and film. Anna's first big role was Arden as she appeared in Down the Shore. She appeared on 29 episodes. Anna continued to be a guest star in a handful of TV series and movies, including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue through the mid 90's when she appeared in a recurring role as Jean Ward in The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood for two seasons. In 2008 she was cast as Skyler as Skyler in Breaking Bad. Sully was also one of her characters. Gunn was also in the David Schwimmer directed film Sex With Strangers. The year 2022 saw Gunn also participated in an audio-play show known as "Numbered days". Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's marriage to Skyler. Walter White's life story and the strain on the marriage he shares with Skyler can be seen in the television show.
